Mitsubishi Thermostat Adapter Interface for BACnet and Modbus - PAC-US444CN-1

The PAC-US444CN-1 thermostat interface allows for the utilization of a third-party thermostat to manage your Mitsubishi Electric indoor units. With 3 input terminals for fan speed control (Auto, Medium, High, and custom auto), it is designed to work with HVAC thermostats and input/output controllers through its CN105 connector, catering to both residential and commercial indoor units. It is capable of controlling systems that are compatible with the MHK1 controller model, enabling control by third-party HVAC thermostats or input/output controllers (note: not compatible with heat pump control systems). The required minimum terminals include R, C, G, W1, and Y1, while preferred terminals consist of R, C, G, W1, W2, Y1, and Y2. Line voltage thermostats are not supported, and a 12 VDC power supply is necessary for the MAC-33IF.

The compatibility of the PAC-US444CN-1 extends to almost all current indoor units offered by Mitsubishi Electric US, including the CITY-MULTI (models after April 2012), M-Series, and P-Series Indoor Units. It has been tested with popular thermostat brands such as Nest, Honeywell, Lyric, and INNCOM (with fan speed control). Supported thermostats for use with the interface include Nest, Honeywell, Lyric, and INNCOM with fan speed control. Each indoor unit requires one thermostat interface, allowing for seamless integration and ease of use.

Additionally, the PAC-US444CN-1 is compatible with the PAC-SE41TS Remote Temperature sensor and MAC-331F. However, it does not support M-Net and MA Control systems. It should be noted that only one third-party thermostat can be connected to one thermostat interface, even in a multi-zone system like the MXZ. The interface provides 3 input terminals for fan speed control: High, Medium, and Low, offering users the flexibility to adjust settings as needed.
